Borough of Emmaus
Curbside Yard Waste Collection

Curbside yard waste pick up is available through the Borough of Emmaus Public Works Department on Mondays from April 3, 2023 through October 23, 2023 except holidays (Monday, May 29th and Monday, September 4th - yard waste will be picked up on Tuesday's when a holiday occurs).

Please call 610-965-9288 to schedule yard waste pick up.  If no one answers, please leave a message or email pweiant@borough.emmaus.pa.us. with your address and the number of bags to be picked up.  The Public Works Department will collect yard waste bags rain or shine. 

There is a 5-bag limit.  More than 5 bags will be left at the curb.  The Borough encourages anyone with large quantities of bags to utilize the Compost Site located on Klines Lane. 

All items must be placed in approved paper compostable bags and placed at the curbline.  No plastic bags will be accepted. 

The following items will be accepted:  Leaves and leafy stems (grass and leaves may be mixed in the same bag), grass and grass clippings, woody branches up to 1' in diameter. (Keep separated from grass and leaves.)

Any bags containing materials such as rocks, bricks, dirt, mulch, sod, and trash will not be picked up. Bags weighing over 50 lbs. will not be picked up.
